Lancaster Training Services runs a multitude of commercial courses along with it's Apprenticeship programmes. These courses are open to anyone coming from anywhere in the country. We have had people attend our training centre from as far away as south London. Considering we are in Heysham, in Lancashire, that's a fair distance to travel, but it tells you something about why people come to us!
The Apprenticeship programme is different though. Although we would ordinarily like to accept anyone on to our programme there are logistical reasons as to why we cannot. As part of the programme, an apprentice would need to attend the training centre at least once a week and be reviewed and assessed on a regular basis. This unfortunately means therefore, that coming from a great distance away would be out of the question. You would find it difficult getting to us and we would certainly find it difficult getting to you. The image below shows a rough guide to the geographic area we can realistcally cover.
