What are the qualifications about?
The NVQ in Driving Goods Vehicles is a formal qualification showing your practical skills at driving and delivering goods in light goods vehicles. It can help you take on more responsibility at work.
You'll cover things like load security, vehicle preparation, route planning and driving the vehicle in restricted places.
Who are they for?
The level 2 is for anyone currently working in goods delivery and driving light goods vehicles for work.
The level 3 is for anyone who wants to improve their practical skills as a lorry, truck or other goods vehicle driver and start to take on supervisory or team leader roles.
You need to be working as a goods vehicle driver to take this qualification.
