Fork Lift Truck & Lorry Loader Courses
Training is conducted by RTITB Registered Instructors to
an Approved Programme in accordance with the requirements of the Health
and Safety Executive.
The training of Fork Lift Truck/Lorry Loader Operators is
available either at the Training Centre or on an employer's premises.
Training Centre based Courses are undertaken on a Counterbalanced
Fork Lift Truck, Reach Truck, Pivot Steer or The Lorry Loader. Each training
programme consists of practical and theoretical training covering all aspects
of operation.
The Trainees are subject to practical and theoretical tests
during the final day of the Course. Successful Trainees are awarded a Certificate
of Competence to operate the equipment on which they were trained.
Training on an employer's premises will only be undertaken
where certain conditions prove suitable. Details are available from the
Training Manager.

Re-Certification
For the operator whose 'ticket' is over five years old. 1 day

Semi-Skilled Operator
- A & Reach Conversion
For the competent operator whose main occupation is using a Fork Lift
Truck but has never been trained and tested. 2 days

Semi-Skilled Operator
- B
Similar to 'A' above but where the operator uses a Fork Lift Truck
on a casual basis and will require longer time to reach test standard.

For the new operator with no previous experience. 5 days

The training day for all courses is 8.00 am to 4.00 pm.
The fees for courses conducted on employer's premises are
subject to negotiation and will include the instructor's expenses, travel,
etc.
All above prices are at the new VAT rate of 20%
